Minecraft server profiles

Keep more than one world on one server. Each profile has its own files, software, storage, backups and schedules.

A profile is a saved copy of this server: its files, software, Minecraft version and modpack. The live profile is the one players join. The others stay parked until you switch.

1. What you see on Profiles

Open the Profiles tab. Each card shows the software, Minecraft version, modpack name, last switch, and how much storage that profile is using. A modpack profile shows the pack image. The storage bar at the top uses a different color for each profile so you can see which one is using the disk.

2. Create a profile or install a pack into one

Create a profile from the current server, or from a folder you uploaded. Installing a modpack can also create a profile: Create profile parks the current world and installs the pack as the new live profile. Full install replaces only the live profile. Other profiles stay where they are. Mods and plugins you add later belong to the live profile. Switching away takes those files with it, and switching back brings them home.

3. Switch

Switching stops the server, moves the live files into the old profile, brings the chosen profile back, and restores that profile’s startup. A progress bar shows stopping, moving files, restoring startup and starting. The switch is also written to Activity. Do not start the server or install a pack while a switch is running.

4. Backups and schedules

Backup slots are per profile. One slot on the plan means one backup for a single profile, and one backup each when you have more than one profile. A backup is named for the profile it came from. Restore it only while that profile is live.

Schedules follow the same idea. A schedule belongs to the profile that was live when you created it, unless you tick Run on every profile. Those global schedules stay in place when you switch. The others are put away with the profile and come back when you switch to it again.

  1. 1
    Open Profiles

Check storage, software and the modpack image on each card.

  2. 2
Switch when you want the other world

Wait for the progress bar. Activity records the swap.

  3. 3
Back up and schedule per profile

Leave Run on every profile off unless the timer should always run.

Match the error, then ask if you still need help

Most console and join issues are already in the guides. Copy the ERRORS line first. Open a ticket only if the steps still fail.
