Player inventory copies
Turn inventory copies on or off, choose how often they run, and restore one player without using a world backup slot.
Inventory copies save each Java player's items separately from a world backup. The plan has to include them. After that, you choose whether this server keeps them and how many hours pass between copies.
1. Turn copies on
Open Backups or a player on the Players tab. Tick Save inventory copies. Pick the hours between copies. The plan sets the fastest schedule. You can choose that interval or a slower one. Turning the switch off stops new scheduled copies. Copies already stored stay until the server is removed.
2. Read the inventory
Open the player. The grid shows armor, the inventory, the hotbar and the ender chest from the last world save. An online player can be a few minutes behind, because the panel reads the file Minecraft already wrote. The icons are drawn by the panel. They are not Minecraft's texture files, so a sword, pickaxe, food and blocks stay recognizable without downloading the game's assets.
3. Restore one player
Use Snapshot now when you want a copy before a change. Restore replaces only that player's inventory. If they are online, the server kicks them first. Restore does not roll the world back and does not use a world backup slot.
Ender chests are included. Other mod inventories, curios and backpacks stored outside the player file are not. A world backup is still the way to save the whole map.
- 1Confirm the plan includes inventory copies
If the switch is missing, the plan does not include them.
- 2Choose the hours between copies
Six hours is the fastest. Forty-eight is the slowest.
- 3Restore from the player page
The player is kicked first when the server is online.
Match the error, then ask if you still need help
Most console and join issues are already in the guides. Copy the ERRORS line first. Open a ticket only if the steps still fail.
